Icon Embassy Hotel - Madrid

I truly enjoyed staying in this absolutely brilliant and pretty place. My twin room and bed were exceptionally comfortable. It had a good bathroom and a safe, a mini-bar, and central heating. The stay itself was great, the staff was kind and available. The venue was in a very central location next to all the shops and amazing restaurants near Salamanca and best restaurants and stores.

Public parking nearby provided. The twin room with a balcony, facilities worked for us...

Well located, room size was perfect for our family of four (kids 10 and 12) and nice staff.

Not really a four star, more a three-star. Furniture and wallpaper neede some fixing and rug could have been cleaner.

The hotel was quiet and well located. The children were pleased to get a soft toy as a welcoming present on the first morning during breakfast.

The decor is somewhat tacky in the breakfast room and the colour scheme cold.

We had a nice stay at this trendy boutique hotel. The staff were pleasant and helped with directions. The highlight was the good food. Serrano subway station can be reached within 10 minutes walk.

Location is excellent for shopping, very close to Metro station.

I have booked a room for 5 persons, but this room is extremely small....doesn't even have enough space to put 5 luggages inside the room. The staff in the reception are arrogant.

The hotel was promoted as a high tech, modern hotel. They did have a computer in each room and one in the lobby for use. Or use your own. The wi-fi worked and everything was great. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were always available and very helpful. It was good for the value.

Not proactive giving the wifi access code, I had to ask twice. Accessing wifi is cumbersome, need to enter code all the time. Useless old pc in the room, in both rooms I stayed it did not connect to wifi and did not read a dvd. Family rooms not suitable for small kids, one had a bunk bed without side protection (impossile to understand as this is almost a standard feature of bunk beds), the other (410) had children beds in a very dangerous to access mezzanine with beds put beside a glass barrier where small children could potentially fall. Normal room (203) for 1 person use was provided with an additional bed that took over the whole place. Very old and too small TV sets, unsuitale to large rooms.

Very good position in the shopping area near the Prado.

We had a small room with a very poor air conditioning

The location was excellent.

Why laptop in the rooms? Better upgrade the wireless network which was slow and unstable.
